CASE 06 / BAKER STREET MYSTERIES
The Dancing
Men.
Seemingly innocent drawings. A message that cannot be ignored.
Norfolk, a secret past, and an alphabet hidden in gestures.
Decode the symbols with Holmes and Watson.
Based on “The Adventure of the Dancing Men” by Arthur Conan Doyle. Original dialogue, illustrations, and documents; the solution follows the original story. No prior knowledge of the story is needed. If you already know the ending, help the new detectives instead.
About the adaptation and source
We have retained the main plot and characters. Some information from the ending has been moved into earlier files so you can reconstruct the mystery yourself. These changes are noted in the documents. The main solution remains unchanged. Ages 14+: threats, death, and a reference to an attempted suicide, without graphic descriptions. The dialogue is original, not quoted from a modern translation. The English original at Project Gutenberg contains the solution.
